Doodles, Doodles

Whenever I am bored, the first thing I do is get a pen and doodle or sketch. I try my best to make it as nice as possible, but just end up making a mess out of the blank sheet of paper. That's why I really envy this friend of mine who sketches gowns or dresses as if he's a real designer. Yes, "he". He's a guy and his name is Rene. I even gave him a new notebook for him to sketch on. Here are some of his sketches:

Nice,eh? It's really a waste he didn't go to a fashion school.

And,now that I have nothing to do at home,most scratch papers turn into something like this:

It's been a rainy week and as expected, the streets of Iloilo were overflowing with rain (and dirty) water. Slippers or sandals won't do for me because it would certainly just cause me illnesses which I can't afford to have right now since school works need all of my energy. Good thing I have these amazing knock-offs of Doc Marten boots which I found at a thrift store (I know, LUCKY ME) which could protect my feet from all the bacteria from the rain water. It was my first time to wear it at school and I was really hesitant at first, but then, what the hell. Even though I received weird looks from people I met at school, my friends gave me consolation for the good comments that they said. It was only then that I realized that the shoes were too big for me, because when I bought it from the thrift store, I was so excited and giddy that I didn't even bother to try it on. to make up for the excess space inside the shoe, I wore a pair of very thick socks, which fortunately worked out.

 Now, every time I wake up, I silently pray for rain to come so that I'll have an excuse to wear these amazing gift sent from heaven above. Lols. =))
