Lantern Parade/Christmas Party

Last December 16, we had our block's Christmas Party. It was held at Captain Dad's Resto, since it was cheap there and it was convenient for all of us. I lead the exchange gift, where we had a sort of "Pinoy Henyo" (guessing game). It was so much fun giving out clues and all. Here are some pics showing me having so much fun.

See? I was really having fun.haha

Welcome new blockmates!

Opening gifts.

What I got! yehey!

I'm such a photobomber.

Then we went to the UP Visayas Miag-ao Campus to attend the yearly Lantern Parade.

But we arrived late so we weren't able to join the parade. We just stayed at the nearby gasoline station and watched people pass by.

Then we went to the New Administration Building and watched the program. I can honestly say that the program there was boring compared when it was held at the city campus. The only thing I liked there were the flash mob and the flying lantern parade.

Lighting up the flying lantern parade.

Flash Mob.

Then we slept at my classmate's house.
Then had our breakfast the next morning at my other classmate's house.

Too bad I wasn't able to watch the Oblation Run.^^

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Let's Have a Good Laugh

Attended our dorm's Christmas Party a while ago and I had so much fun especially since we had our first ever  dorm's pageant. Had a good laugh with the contestant's answers during the Q&A. My close friend and room mate was one of the contestants and I lent her my clothes for the "night out" wear, she's the girl in the picture above and everything she's wearing from head to toe are mine.
I was also able to wear my wedge/bootie for the first time tonight. Good thing, our party's theme was "Dress to Impress:The New You", it gave me a chance to dress up. And, I got what I really wanted during our exchange gift, some sort of an organizer/box for my stuff. Better than what I wrote on our wishlist. Awesome!=)

This is what I wore.
Top: thrifted
Skirt:Bazaar
Shoes:Parisian

A Day with the Girls

School has been really busy lately and it's causing me a lot of stress, way more than I can take. Every minute of the day, I just wish to have some time off and relax for a while. Thank goodness for small favors. My college best friends and I decided to have an early Christmas party of sorts, with a little bit of gift giving to each other. Right after our class last Tuesday, we head off to an "eat all you can resto" but we had to wait a little bit cause we came too early.

But when we entered, we were disappointed because it was totally not what we expected (I'd rather not talk about it here). We talk while we were inside and decided if it wouldn't be too rude to leave the expecting waiters and transfer to some other place instead.

So we decided to go the Plazuela instead, ate at Steps of Rome, exchanged our gifts and played at Time Zone afterwards.

It was an awesome day for the four of us.
