Insta-Update

So much has happened this past week I find it hard how to narrate it to you. Too many photos to sort out first, and not to mention upload with a very slow internet connection made slower by the unexpected rain. So for a while let me show you these photos gathered from different Instagram profiles so I can somehow say I've "shared" to you these awesome memories.

As I've mentioned in my last post, Bjorn had included Iloilo in one of his projects called Kalsada Ph. Luckily, I got the opportunity to tour him around the city. It was so much fun seeing him do his thing as well as meeting new people and gaining new friends.

Rooftop Blues

Ugh. I hate Philippine weather. One day it's raining so hard with gusting wind the next day it's so sweltering hot. So unpredictable. =/

Anyways, as per usual, school has been eating up lots of my time these past few weeks, lots of interbatch/intercollege competitions, and with modeling as highlights, which is where as expected I was assigned, and not to mention exams, loads of them. Late nights at school and at Starbucks,skipping meals, and lack of sleep, all of them had added up and had me ending up with terrible migraines and colds and high fevers. Sometimes I just wanna give up and just go back home to our province and enjoy a stress-free life, but if I do that, all of my hard work, and not to mention my parents', will all just go to waste, and I don't never want that to happen.

Okay, so enough of the drama. Let's replace that instead with dramatic pictures. haha, kidding. I just wanna show you guys my current favorite item of clothing, a sweater, a very comfortable one, that I got from a thrift shop for a very low price. =) I just love it, perfect for rainy weathers. (I just wanna mention too that these pictures were taken way before all the hectic activities at school, thus the smiling and not-so-stressful looking face  haha)

Oh, Did I mention that just turned 21y.o.  last July 25? Start of a new decade of my life. I just hope it will be a fruitful one. =)

After The Rain

It's just the first two days of school and my body is already grunting. Well what did I expect from being an officer for 6 different organizations right? I just wished all these physical exhaustion would burn off some of unwanted fats from my arms. It would definitely make it more desirable to wear sleeveless tops, which I badly need for this very hot and humid weather.

And my hair! oh god my hair. it's making it a whole lot hotter. and it's causing me headaches every time I bun it. It's too long and heavy already. What shall I do? It's even evident on these photos how I can't stand for too long letting my hair down. ugh.

Off The List

I know that this post is almost 3 weeks late, I'm not sure you're even remotely interested in hearing it, or rather, reading it. I'm sorry but a girls got to do what she's got to do, right? Anyways, the story behind the photos in the blog post before this is that I was supposed to look for a prom dress (which I'll be blogging about soon, I hope) but I ended up doing things that helped me cross out pretty much a quarter of my to-do list while still living/ studying here in Iloilo. Case in point:

1.) Take a legit outfit photo in a vintage-looking area

2.) have a photowalk around Iloilo

3.) Discover hidden places

4.) sit at a firetruck's back  haha, just kidding

4.) the best part! Finally, eat at Glor's burger

Glor's burger is this infamous burger place that is hidden in an almost literal hole-in-the-wall place in downtown area Iloilo. I had always wanted to try it but I thought it would be lame to have my first bite of this supposed-to-be awesome burger, alone. So since my bestfriend was with me at that time and we were pretty much starving after all the walking and unplanned sunbathing, we went to this place.The setting of the place is really cool, I felt like I was taken back in time, back when everything was black and white, in televisions I mean. The place was surrounded by signed playbills. I wanted to take home one with me.

I was kind of disappointed with the burger itself because I was thinking of Crave Burger level but that's not the reason why I don't have a photo here, the battery of the camera just died after taking too much outfit photos. I still think I'm gonna give it another try. =)

I'm gonna run this town

It's raining outside while I'm typing this. I'm listening to some random music on my phone while lying on my cozy bed. Nothing much enters my mind that could make this supposedly outfit post seem more interesting than it really is. I have a great story in my mind to tell you about the day these photos were taken, but the cold weather and the school stress seem to be freezing my mind as well, so I can't find the right words to describe them, and I'm terribly sorry about that. Actually I am not,as of the moment that is,maybe later I will be. All I want to do right now is finish this and publish, then just go and snuggle with my not so cuddly pillows and take advantage of the cold weather that is rather unusual in a tropical country like ours. so yeah. Maybe I'll be back later and make a better post and tell you more of that "adventure" that I mentioned.so..okay. bye.. 

oh yeah, did I mention that I changed my blog title? no? so there you go, I did. I'll talk more about that in my next post as well.=)

Pops of Colors

You know, at the start of the year, I vowed to become more active in blogging, become more adventurous and more creative. Well, for the sake of me and of course for the sake of making this blog alive. haha. I'm trying to make that happen, one step at a time. In the last post, I had my photos taken in a public area, so the "adventurous" part of the promise is kind of taken care of. In this post, I guess it's a little bit of the "adventurous" and "creative" part. Adventurous and creative at the same time because I've finally wore a bit of make up, the red lipstick! yay me. haha.

Anyways, I've already worn this skirt a lot of times in the past around school, but I never get to blog about it here,I guess. So here I am presenting you my forever favorite skirt along with my new favorite pair of flats. =)
