I had Law Class today so I have to wear jeans since we were required to do so. This is my only jeans here in my dormitory, since all of my clothes are back at home, so I have to make do with it. I paired it with the top I got from a stall (from Vern's, if I remember it correctly) during the Bloggers United 3 for only Php 300! My friends keep teasing me that I looked like a "madame" in this getup, I don't know why exactly, maybe because the top part looked formal, especially with the necklace. haha.

So anyways, classes are starting already, and every day we have quiz in my major subject, (and not to mention I have 2 law subjects), so I barely have time to open my laptop and update my blogs. I made a promise to myself to strive hard and get the highest grade I can possibly get and I am doing my best to keep that promise. I have to concentrate first on my studies since that's my top most priority so please understand if I barely post here. =))

Don't Wanna Be The Odd Gum Out

LOUSY BLOGGER. That's what I am. And I'm so sorry for the very long hiatus. It's gonna be the start of love month in a few hours and my last post was like ages ago! Okay, I give you the complete permission to kill me.In your mind, that is. I am yet to attend my prom (yes we have, even in College!), so give me a chance to get busy with that first before you kill me. haha. okay. boring.

So, what have I been up to for all the time I've gone M.I.A.?Nothing really, just lie on the couch and watch Pretty Little Liars while getting obsessed with Aria Montgomery's outfits and Glee while drooling for Mike Chang's abs. That's a pretty much justified excuse for not blogging right? RIGHT? no!

Actually,and SERIOUSLY, the real reason why I wasn't able to blog is because my laptop is still under repair and my camera is getting moody,sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. So I wasn't able to take outfit pictures to blog about. But other than that, I'm kinda busy brainstorming for our upcoming prom with the rest of the prom team. I am so lucky to have been part of that group,what with all the creative people oozing with  awesome ideas to make our prom the best ones,especially the very artistic head, Cat Lim.

Our prom's team is CANDYLAND and I haven't the faintest idea yet what to wear. Good thing there's this mood board our head has made, makes it easier for me to choose dress. I'm so excited but I have yet to loose all the fat in my arms to make me look presentable for that special day.(I'm gonna go jogging tomorrow,that's a promise!)

Can you suggest some outfits I could wear for our Candyland-themed prom? It'll be a big help.=)))

I'm off to the Wild

Last Wednesday, I stopped by our school's art gallery (my fave part in school) to see the latest exhibit. It's a one man show by an artist named Jomari Moleta entitled Panan-awan. I love all of the paintings and the story behind them. Here,let me show you what I'm talking about.

Of course I took the opportunity to take outfit photos, which isn't much really. My friend even told me I looked like a wildlife photographer (hence the title),haha. =))

Excuse my huge arms, I know I need to tone them down, so I'm now off to do some exercise. Wait. Let me finish this post first.

Desperate Enough

Last Friday, we were asked to help for the preparation of Pasundayag by our accounting professor for an exchange of +5 points to our first long exam. Because of that 5 points that we were so desperate to take, we end up being the first people to arrive to the place where we were gonna do the preparation, we even beat the faculty and staff whom we were gonna help. But nevertheless,it gave us time to have breakfast first and consume the much needed energy that's gonna be eaten up afterwards.

It was so much fun helping the professor dress up because they were so "jologs" and they made us laugh all the time. We almost forgot that they were also the same people who made us shiver inside the walls of the classrooms.

In our Filipino class, our professor required us to wear business attire during every class. I didn't know what the connection was, but our prof said it was so that we would be ready for our future since we are taking business courses. I didn't care about the reason,all I know is that it would be an opportunity for me to wear anything but shorts or jeans, which are like my uniform already. So,for our first meeting, this is what we wore:

It was nice seeing everyone so prepped up and formal-looking. I had lots of fun looking at my classmates wearing something that's not usual seen in them. I am so looking forward to more of it.=)

It's All Worth It

As I have mentioned in my past post, last Friday was our college's acquaintance party. There were a lot of contests and one thing that I always look forward to is the modelling contest. I helped a little with the making of the costume since it's the only thing that I'm interested at in the whole event. The costumes have to be related with the batch's theme or advocacy, and ours was about being environmental armies, so we recycled stuff to make the costume.

We won the modelling contest but didn't make it to the top 3 overall, but the sweat and stress were all worth it. I love my batchmates so much. After the event, our favorite band Kreons arrived and we partied the night away.=)

Sorry for not updating my blog for  more than a week, I've just been really busy with school works, especially since last Friday was our college's acquaintance party and there were a lot of preparations to do. Aside from that, my accounting subject is so hard that it takes a lot of time studying it. But, never mind that, it's not any of your problems.

So,last Wednesday, as part of our acquaintance party, the student council held the first ever photography contest and all the photographs were exhibited at the student's lounge. My friends and I went to support our friend Elmark even if it was raining so hard. When we arrived there, I was assigned by Eloisa, the student council president, to be the official photographer of the said event. That is why I don't have any pictures during the main event, only during the snacks time since that was the only time I was freed from the duty and my friend Chin  took over the camera. Our batch didn't win the contest though, and that was a li'l bit disappointing since I really liked my batchmates' works and the others' were too edited. Well, what can I do,I was not the judge.haha.

*And about the title of this post, that was the theme of our acquaintance party, which is all about advocacies of each batch. Ours was about the environment.
