After The Rain

It's just the first two days of school and my body is already grunting. Well what did I expect from being an officer for 6 different organizations right? I just wished all these physical exhaustion would burn off some of unwanted fats from my arms. It would definitely make it more desirable to wear sleeveless tops, which I badly need for this very hot and humid weather.

And my hair! oh god my hair. it's making it a whole lot hotter. and it's causing me headaches every time I bun it. It's too long and heavy already. What shall I do? It's even evident on these photos how I can't stand for too long letting my hair down. ugh.

Taking Advantage

I have always hated festivals, well not really hated, I just don't like them and don't believe in them (religious reasons) and I try to stir away from them as much as possible. Besides the fact that I don't believe in saints and celebrating anything related to them, I also hate the crowd and the full streets and all that stuff.So this recently ended Dinagyang festival, I most of the time just stayed in my dorm and the only public place I went to besides school was the mall. It's always full, and the crowd there didn't bother me much. I went there because I had to take advantage of the sales. haha. Anyways, here are the stuff that I recently bought:

Also,exams are coming so I have to get ready for them. Since today is our school's rest day, I again had to take advantage. I went to Starbucks and brought a whole bag loaded of notes to study. I wanted to feel really comfortable today, so I took out my really comfy shorts and plain V neck and sandals and went ahead to study. I added red lipstick to my whole outfit as not to look too plain. Mixed And Matched

Okay, let's take a break from Iloilo Designers Week updates for a while, shall we? It's been quite a long time since I last posted an outfit photo, and here's something very recent.

 

I wore this skirt during the first day of IDW, but since I didn't have a photo of it and I really wanted to show you how awesome it is, I wore it again, and paired with a thrifted denim top.

 

I really love this top, it's so versatile. When we went to Bora, I wore this with a denim short and it's so perfect for the beach,and for the Gala Night for IDW (which I'm gonna post real soon), I wore it with a black maxi skirt and heels, and it's perfect for a formal event as such.

Short, No shorts

This is what I wore during our sem-ender party. Actually that morning, before we left, it was raining really hard and I was hesitant to wear anything short or sleeveless since I thought it would be cold. But I didn't wanna wear jeans either, it would be inappropriate because it would be a sort-of pool party. So I decided to wear this oversized polo and shorts, and yes, I'm wearing shorts underneath those very long polos. haha.

I think I made the right choice since by the time we arrived at the place, the sun was already up and brightly shining. The polo was perfect for the weather because it was so light and the size was so comfortable, I can freely move and do anything.

As you can see, I really love the torquise color, especially when it comes to accessories. It's so cooling in the eyes and just perfect to mix with anything in my closet.

Iloilo Designers Week

Hello again people! I just finished taking a long exam for my major subject, so I think I deserve a little break. And I'll use up the time to make an overdue post here in my neglected blog. But I really thank readers who still drop by here and make lovely comments on my previous posts. Thanks so much!!

Anyways, storms are hitting the country again, meaning rains every freaking day, but thank God, last Thursday was an exemption, so I was able to wear shorts. =)

As you can see, I really love this lace top + collar neckpiece combination that I wear it as much as I can. They look so dainty together. =)

And added with these loafers I got from a local department store. just.plain.perfect.

Anyways, something is good is coming to Iloilo! Iloilo Designers Week! I've been waiting for something like this to happen in Iloilo for so long, and now that it is finally happening, I'm just blessed enough to be able to be attending such. It is the "..the convergence of Iloilo's best designers as well as top designers from Manila". 

I am very excited to see what local talents have got to show the world! Here is the line up for the
