Feeling French

I love Plazuela de Iloilo. It makes me feel like I'm not in the Philippines, let alone Iloilo. It always has this Italian/French feeling which makes me want to go there, walk around their mini plaza, taking the view around me, sipping a cup of latte and when I feel tired,  sit on their metal chairs while reading a good book and imagine I'm at a cafe in Italy. I also love the fact that it is not overpopulated unlike the other malls here in Iloilo which enables me to relax my mind. Just a day before our 1st long exam in our accounting subject, I dragged my roommate/friend/classmate/foodmate Ivanne to try out one of the cafes here in Plazuela called Amular Photograph Studio+Cafe. As you can see in the name, it's a studio an cafe in one which makes it even better because that would mean 2 of my addiction together. I love the feel inside the cafe, so relaxing but not the type that would make you feel sleepy, especially in the afternoon when the sun shines so bright it hurts my eyes so much yet I love to stare at it directly, watching it go down while sipping their Lattes with ice cream instead of whipped cream.=)

What I also love in Plazuela is their sunrise exercise which I religiously join as long as I'm here in Iloilo. And also the wide variety of culture dishes they offer, they have Italian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese and of course Pinoy! I'm also excited about the soon-to-open dessert bar! Which is a bad thing because what's the use of all the exercise i'm doing if it will all go to waste because of the restaurants surrounding the area. And not to mention, Starbucks are just a few steps away from it. Ugh,

There's nothing like coffee with a friend, and it does have sort of an Italian/French vibe!
